There is nothing wrong with you!
Do you know this…
… feeling of constantly thinking about your open To-Dos?
… wanting to do focused work but there is always something getting in the way?
… thought of never doing enough?
… guilt when leaving the office without much progress?
… pushing through one more hour even though you’re tired?
My Journey towards stress-free productivity
I’ve been there, too!
Hey! my name is Miriam and I can relate to your feelings and frustrations so much because I’ve been there too.
I loved my PhD position -
what I didn’t love were the stress, self-doubt and feelings of never doing enough that came with it…
“It is normal for PhDs to work weekends.”
“If you don’t go all in, you’re not PhD material.”
“A PhD degree has to be earn the hard way.”
… were stories I told myself and heard from others. Since I did what I loved, it was okay to overwork, right?….
I started my PhD in Denmark just before COVID turned everything upside down. What began as a dream position quickly became overwhelming as I juggled research, a long-distance relationship, and the constant feeling that I wasn't doing enough…
Everything changed when I explored time management techniques, productivity science and mindfulness practices.
By applying the same rigour to understanding feel-good productivity that I applied to my research, I transformed my PhD experience from overwhelm to simply enjoying my journey all the way.
The essence of everything I learned—the strategies, insights, and mindset shifts that changed my entire PhD experience—is what I want to share with you in Time Mastery. So, that you, too, can enjoy your PhD - and your free time outside the lab!

What others say about my work
"Before working together, I was really struggling with structuring my work days and getting things done without wasting far too much time. The course helped me develop concrete tools like working in focused units and maintaining a floating to-do list that actually works for me.
What I enjoyed most was the reflection on my current behaviour and the positive approach and language used throughout. The sessions felt like genuine discussions rather than lectures, which I really appreciated.
Now, time management is becoming much more manageable! I've gained some brilliant tools, but the most valuable insight was the reminder that I'm doing all this work for my own benefit - taking the right steps and spending my time efficiently will benefit me directly.
The course absolutely met my expectations, and I loved the conversational, discussion-based approach rather than being talked at."
Gülin, PhD at the Technical University of Denmark
“I really liked Miriam's Time Mastery course! There’s so much in there that’s actually useful for managing all the different tasks you often have to juggle as a postdoc.
It has genuinely helped me to get a better overview of everything and improve my prioritisation (which was one of my main reasons for taking this course, so ✔). Her notebook structure is something I will definitely keep on using!
I also very much liked the personal approach and the calm, safe space Miriam created. She really takes the time to listen, help and follow up on what is/isn't working for you. She is clearly very passionate about conveying what has made her life easier to others!
If you have difficulties with prioritisation and live in chaos (like me), I would absolutely recommend the course!”
Charlotte, Postdoc at University of Copenhagen

Imagine yourself two months after Time Mastery
It's Thursday morning and you've just arrived at your office. You feel awake and ready for the day.
You know exactly what to start with today: writing on your manuscript. You switch your computer on, open the document, set a timer and start your work. No distractions, no other tasks, no haste. Just you and your thoughts and that paper you want to finish.
It's lunchtime. You close your computer and take a break. You're satisfied with what you've accomplished – and it's only noon!
After lunch you have time to help out colleagues, draft slides for teaching and write a post about your presentation at a conference the other day.
At 4 you go home. You call it a day. You smile at the thought of how the day unfolded and find it hard to recall why everything felt so hard, so restless and out of control just a few weeks ago.
You're in control of your schedule, your time and your tasks. They are yours now.
In Time Mastery,
you’ll learn how to:
Create a steady, calm rhythm for your days, free from chaos or overwhelm.
Focus on what truly matters, even when distractions arise.
Apply simple, practical tools to manage tasks and projects with ease.
Find harmony between achieving your long-term goals and enjoying your life in the moment.
Build habits that restore energy and strengthen your sense of capability.
Trust yourself to move through your plans without feeling rushed or depleted.

FAQ
-
I highly recommend joining live for the full experience and best learning experience - the interactive elements and real-time Q&A make all the difference. But life happens (who knows that better than you?!)! All sessions are recorded so it’s absolutely no problem if you have other commitments during 1 or more of the sessions.
-
The group is intentionally kept small to ensure personal attention, support, and meaningful interactions. One cohort consists of 2 people - so you and someone else :)
-
Each weekly group session is 60 minutes. I recommend 15-30 minutes daily to implement what you learn (that's where the magic happens!).
BONUS: You'll also have access to optional 3-hour focus sessions 2-3 times per week - these are co-working sessions where you apply the techniques on your own projects with the group's energy supporting you.
-
Nothing fancy required! You'll just want:
A device with Zoom (laptop or tablet)
Your favourite note-taking method: digital or old-school notebook (I recommend hand-writing ,)
Stable internet connection
Optional: Access to a printer for the handouts (but digital versions work fine too!)
-
While this is a group-based program, the intimate size means you'll receive plenty of individual attention during our sessions. Plus, I'm available via email throughout the course for quick questions or clarifications.
If you're looking for deeper, personalised strategy work, I also offer 1:1 coaching - feel free to ask me about that!
-
Here's what I love about this work - you don't wait six weeks to feel different!
Most participants notice a shift in their stress levels and sense of control after just the first session. It's not a complete transformation overnight (real change takes time), but you'll get that first taste of 'Oh wow, this actually works for my brain!' right from week one.
The key is being willing to try the techniques - the students who see the fastest results are the ones who jump in and experiment with what we cover.
