A ‘crash-course’ … or rather
anti-crash-course’…!

Use Time Management techniques to boost your productivity and enjoy guilt-free weekends - outside the lab!

Imagine this was what your PhD journey looked like…

... when you leave the office on a Friday afternoon (yes, not evening!), you meet your friend at that café with the amazing croissants. You dunk your croissant into your cappuccino, lose track of time, and your phone stays forgotten in your bag.
You're completely present – jumping from topic to topic, laughing, connected.
No thoughts of "I should've finished that manuscript draft by now" or "I'll have to catch up over the weekend."

... you stop switching between your manuscript, your inbox, and that dataset every 10 minutes because everything feels urgent and nothing gets your full attention.

.. instead of bouncing between whatever email or request comes your way and wondering at 5pm "what did I actually DO today?", you follow a clear plan that makes real progress visible and turns your to-do list from enemy into guide.

Here is what my work has done for other PhDs:

Sounds good?

Hey, I’m Miriam

My PhD journey fundamentally changed when I discovered the power of intentional time management and focus work. Before that, I constantly compared myself to other PhDs, doubted whether I was "PhD material," and worked myself to exhaustion trying to prove I was enough. I thought something was wrong with me… maybe science wasn’t for me?

Through learning about productivity science, psychology, and focus techniques, I got to know myself better and could finally work with my natural rhythms instead of against them. My strength lies in creating structure and clarity. I help PhDs and early career researchers develop sustainable work routines, recognise self-sabotage patterns, and find their focus – so they can finish their work on time without burning out.

Since finishing my double-degree PhD in 2024, I've guided over 300 hours of online co-working (focus sessions) and gave numerous workshops helping researchers submit theses, finish chapters, and make consistent progress on their work. Now I want to share what transformed my PhD experience with you.
